What is HIFU ?

HIFU is a non‑surgical High Intensity Focused Ultrasound technology and unlike lasers and radio frequency, it delivers focused ultrasound energy at the specified depth (i.e.3.0mm/4.5mm SMAS layer) and at the focal point temperatures of 60‑70℃ are produced which stimulate the production of new collagen without damaging or disrupting the epidermal skin tissue. Clinical studies have shown that this temperature range is needed to stimulate new collagen production and by in effect by passing the nerve sensors in the epidermis the treatment is both essentially pain free & effective.
